Dragon's Denn

Entrepreneurs in the Spotlight

What is Dragon's Denn? Dragon's Denn is a television program where new entrepreneurs look for new opportunities to expand their businesses by a sum of money in exchange for a percentage of their companies. However, they need to convince the dragons to get the money they need. In this episode of Dragon's Denn five entrepreneurs present their ideas or projects, some were very interesting and some other were crazy that only made the dragons laugh. 

The first entrepreneur is a woman name Carli S. who present a design of pants out of the ordinary. However, dragons do were not convince in investing in this idea. On of the reasons they didn´t want to invest in this ideas was because Carli wanted a very large sum of money. Nevertheless, one  dragon  proposes her an  offer she could not refuse.

The second entrepreneur is a very strange man with a very unrealistic idea because he wants to change the whole game of Hockey by changing the rectangular shape of the arena on an oval one. However, it is this idea is very expensive and it will be necessary to change the whole Hockey game. Therefore all the dragons seem it like a bad idea.

The third entrepreneur is a man who offered 60 percent of his company for a sum of $ 700.000 dollars to continue growing in his company. His company sells lithium water that helps the growth of new cells in the brain. But, when the dragons test the water they didn't like it. Therefore they decided not to invest in the company.

In the fourth place, is a group formed by three entrepreneurs. Their company sells CDs containing everything a golfer should know. However one of the dragons tells them everything that contains the CD can be found free on the internet. For that reason, the five dragons said " I´m out ", which it means that they will not invest in the company.

The five company present is a  couple of entrepreneurs they present the product that their company is developing, which is an electric boat that made no noise and that it is  friendly to the environment, nevertheless this boat is very slow. But regardless of this, one of the dragons made them an offer that the couple had to discuss several times to reach an agreement, but the dragons told them to return the other year to see their company advance. 

To sum up, it is not easy being an entrepreneur because it takes great vision and effort since only the best projects convince the dragons to invest in them. In this case, four of five ideas or companies were rejected and only one of them caught the attention of one of the dragons to invest in it. This was the company of Carli with her new style of pants.

My Last Night

I woke up and all the room was dark and soundless, but all changes in seconds. I hear a scream downstairs from a woman. It sounds like they were killing her. I got out of bed and I yelled "Who is there?", but no one answered me, so I got back to bed. It passed one hour and suddenly I felt a breeze on my neck and ... I jumped from the bed and screamed "AAAA!". I ran downstairs, but it was all dark, so I fell from the stairs and hit my head. In that moment someone grabbed my leg and pull me up to the second floor but I didn´t saw anything. I think I black out for a moment, so I didn´t remember all that happen. So, the next think I remember it is that all the walls started looking red as if they were all covered  by blood. Suddenly I heard again a sound, but this time, it was a voice instead of a scream and it said: "I am coming fro you". I panic and I froze for a moment. I felt my body was all cover by blood. I was trying to get up and ran away but I can´t. Also, I felt the air more dense and colder. Then after a second I saw a big dark figure in front of me and it grabbed my leg and broke it. In that moment I think that I will die. I was lying on the floor and I heard a voice saying "It is your last n...".

Self-evaluation	Good, but I can speak more fluently, because sometimes I hesitate.	Good, but there are some words were they misunderstand were I can improve.	Fair, because I can improve my rhythm as speak because sometimes speak fast and others slowly.
Peer-evaluation	Good, but he can talk more fluently without stopping or hesitating sometimes.	Good, almost all the works he say are comprehensible, but some words such as “future” and “acquire” can be pronounce better.	Good, he have a good rhythm, but he can improve it speaking in the same tone of voice and not so fast to prevent communication interference.

Subject: Looking for the best premises in St Peterburg.

Dear Dimitri, I hope you´re well.

I'm writing because I've been asked to investigate different locations in St Peterburg where Mr. Kurt is planning to open a new office. I thought my first step should be to ask for your advice about how to find the best suitable premises that will adapt to our needs in St Peterburg.

First of all, I will tell what kind of office we are looking for. We are looking for a small office employing a maximum of four to six employees, consisting of three rooms where one will be for meetings, so it should be big enough. Also, the other two rooms should be a little smaller than the meeting room, so that the employees can work properly. One of these rooms would be the central office where people would work and the other one will be the reception. Last but not least, the office should be in a huge building where everybody can see our company.  

If you think you can help me locate a place that will fulfill our needs we will be very grateful and of course we will pay you a fee for your services. If you can help me, please let me know as soon as possible.
